This Privacy Policy describes how DraftDay HQ (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our desktop application, mobile companion, and website (together, the “Services”).

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as your account email and league settings, as well as limited technical information needed to operate the Services.

• Account information — email address and display name.
• Draft data — leagues, rosters, and picks you create.
• Diagnostics — anonymous crash and performance data to improve reliability.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to provide and improve the Services, sync your drafts across devices, and communicate with you about updates and beta access.

Local-first by design

For in-person drafts run over your local network, your draft data stays on your devices. Cloud features are opt-in and only used when you host or join a remote draft or enable account sync.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us operate the Services, or when required by law.

Your choices

You can access, update, or delete your account information at any time from the in-app Privacy Center, or export a copy of your data. For requests, contact us at support@draftdayhq.app.

Cookies & consent

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. Non-essential analytics are used only with your consent, which we request the first time you visit and which you can change at any time via the cookie banner. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Data retention

We keep your account and draft data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal, tax, or security obligations. Anonymous diagnostics are retained in aggregate and cannot be tied back to you.

Your rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal data. We honor these rights for all users regardless of location:

• Access & portability — request a copy of your data in a portable format, or export it yourself from the Privacy Center.
• Rectification — correct inaccurate information.
• Erasure — delete your account and associated personal data (“right to be forgotten”).
• Restriction & objection — limit or object to certain processing, including opting out of analytics.
• Do Not Sell or Share — we do not sell or share your personal information; there is nothing to opt out of, but you may confirm this at any time.

To exercise any right, email support@draftdayhq.app. We respond within the timeframes required by applicable law (generally 30 days) and will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date.
