A local (LAN) draft keeps everything on your own network — no internet required. Here's how to get every device connected.

Connect the companion

    Same network

    Put the desktop and every phone on the same Wi-Fi/LAN.
  2. 2

    Scan the code

    Open the companion app and scan the QR code shown in DraftDay HQ.
  3. 3

    Allow the connection

    If Windows Firewall prompts, allow DraftDay HQ on Private networks.

Devices can't connect?

Guest and corporate networks often block device-to-device traffic. Use a home router or a phone hotspot instead.
Check the firewall rule
Open Windows Security → Firewall & network protection → Allow an app and confirm DraftDay HQ is checked for Private networks.
